I think the practice is getting better and trying to be helpful with appointment requests. The Doctors, Nurse Practitioners & Clinic Nurses have treated me correctly.
Although when I first joined the practice a couple of years back I wrote to the Practice Manager several times to ask about the policy on "yearly check ups" for us Senior Citizens but they never wrote back. Also I think there needs to be a very clear set up for person wishing to opt out or these latest Government Data Collection schemes.
Perhaps a Patients Group could be restarted.

It is extremely difficult to get an appointment for this practice. When one phones up you are asked about your condition by the receptionist, which I object to, what does she know about medical conditions. Nine times out of ten they have no appointments with doctors and you are obliged to speak to the nurse practitioner on the telephone. If you want to see an actual doctor you have to book at least a week in advance and the rest. A really bad experience which stresses you out before you even get past the reception.

I booked an appointment online, what a help that is. I was able to get an appointment within two days and if I wanted to I could have chosen the doctor I preferred. I could see that she had no appointments until the following month so saw another doctor instead and was very happy with the result.

The receptionist, treatment room staff, and doctors on the whole are helpful and friendly. however can wait up to 4 weeks to see a GP. How is it that you could get a GP appointment with the green practice in a matter of days?

Good Doctors and receptionists . However not enough to cope with the amount of patients.
